This camcorder is amazing for it’s size and the picture quality is great. It has a wide variety of options you may want. One option my kids really like is the “highlights” feature which takes clips of movies you’ve taken and set it to music. The zoom is good, I wish it was more powerful, but all the same very good. I was about 25 feet away from my son who was sitting in a chair. When I zoomed in on him I could count the hairs on his head. I haven’t transferred any video to a tv screen or burned footage to a dvd yet, but I’ve only had it a day and a half. The expected arrival day and the actual delivery date were 1 day earlier than stated even after having a software glitch on Amazon’s charging of my credit card that I found out by email the following day. So far I’m very satisfied and if you are considering this camera, I seriously doubt you’ll be let down.
