Ive had this lens for a month now and It has yet to make me unhappy. Some things are quirky but not enough to turn me off this cheap little powerhouse.

With most crop sensors this acts as a ~50mm and the view is just classic. I would take this over the 50mm (~75mm) F1.8 any day. the front element does not move at all which makes this ideal for a CP and with no moving parts on the outside it wont be pumping air and dust into our body.

There is some dreaded purple fringing on extreme high contrast areas but that is easy enough to fix in photo shop.

If you need anyone to help push you over the fence on buying this GET IT before prices start to skyrocket!

The lens hood that came with mine snaps solidly into place and I never take it off. Its so mall I dont need to. It also adds more protection for the front element.

I have a Canon A-1 camera with lens. Is there a digital camera body that will work with my Canon lens?
