this product gives a new look of your dslr. my Xsi looks more professional than without it. with the price you can’t go wrong. the material is plastic but looks like it could protect your lens as well.
one thing i’ve notice about this product is that it’s difficult to screw in with a filter onto the lens.
for a standard adult hands it’s really hard to screw in. i wish there could be a simplier way to put it in and out of the lens since i have this wide angle adapter and micro lens that i frequently inter-change for my shooting styles.
giving 3 stars for this because it’s so difficult to put it in and out of my lens; overall this works great for giving extra shade for your lens.

What screw drive do I use to take off air filter housing in 2008 GMC Sierra 4.3L V-6?
It looks like Filter Screw an Allen wrench? It's definitely slotted or phillips drive? The screws have a hexagon shape. I want to change to a K&N filter. Thanks for your help.Thanks - do you happen to know what size it is?
