I purchased one of these screen protectors in 2008 for my D40X. It has performed well. Recently, the camera was knocked by something loose in the camera bag. The protector screen broke, leaving the camera screen unscathed. You could clearly see the point of impact and the protector was in many pieces, which was a little tricky to remove, but not a scratch to the Nikon. Needless to say I’m purchasing another. Money well spent.
