This is a great hood for any camcorder, like the fact that it comes with a hood cover, the quality is good. It took a couple of tries to thread it on, didnt want to strip the plastic threads on the hood. I like the locking ring. looks great on my HF S200. has a nice matte finish on the inside.

Do I need hood pins if my aftermarket hood doesnt fill good near the head Hood Cap lights?
If fits fine in the front and on the sides. It just lift up a little off near the head lights. Do I need hood pins?
