It is a good product, only a little flimsy since the “legs” are made out of plastic. Metal would have been better bu heavier and more expensive. Don’t expect miracles, it softens the light somewhat but not like an external flashed bounced from the ceiling. Good for when you want to travel light and an external flash would be too cumbersome.
Help answer the question about Nikon Pentax
Nikon, Pentax, Canon... Cameras! Which one is the best for me?
I am looking for the camera in a 400 to 600 price range. I am moving away from point n shoot 10 MP to something that would give me a higher quality images, especially in low light, such as sunset time. I also love capturing the moment, when people are not aware that I'm photographing them. I often end up turning the flash off so that I don't give myself away and make ppl act unnaturally. So, I need something that would capture good shots if a person moves suddenly in the middle of the shot without image getting all blurry. I might be mistaken, but from the little online research I did, I am looking for DSLR. I don't want anything Nikon Pentax too heavy either, 'cause I take camera everywhere I go. So, under 2 lbs, ideally no more than a 1 or 1.5 lbs. Hope it's not too confusing what I am looking for. So far Nikon D60 and Pentax X70 (don't even know if they are comparable) seemed like attractive choices. I welcome suggestions from those more knowledgeable than I in the area! Thank you I am totally lost with all the lens parameters... this many Millimeters means what? Thank you for some excellent suggestions! But with all the lens details, I am not sure I'm ready to handle it... It all may be easier than I think, but I don't think I'm ready for a camera like that. And while I'm not completely decided on what I do need, at least I'm getting a sense of what I don't need or not ready to deal with at this point. I need something to drag with me, but point and shoot don't always justify themselves in more challenging conditions. I have heard about some semi-professional DSLR's. So, I might look into those more deeply. I'm looking for same things there, good quality at low light setting, good pic of moving objects without the use of flash. Also good zoom and black and white mode. Answerer "Keerok", thank you for suggesting Pentax K2000. it's pretty impressive. but what do you mean when you say "full featured"? i.e. what is considered "full-featured" in dslr world? sorry if my question sounds "dumb".
