As another reviewer noted, this adapter works but the white print on the adapter ring reflects off the lens-facing side of the filters in bright sun light and so is captured in the pictures. Considering that, I have to wonder what kind of testing this product went through before being released. I used a black permanent marker to color over the white lettering but it also reflects light so care must be taken.
Help answer the question about Filter Adaptor
Which type of the filter systems do you think is better?
I'm starting to use ND and/or Grad ND for landscape photo and considering these two type filters. One type, screw on glass based the filters. They are glass based, high quality. But one Filter Adaptor filters just for one diameter lens.Another type, Cokin filter holder/adaptor/filters. With different adapters you can use filters on different diameter lenses. Specially you can adjust the horizontal line position for the Grad ND filters. But Cokin filters are made from plastics. I'm concerning about the temperature effect and qualities or the duration about the Cokin filters. But the screw-on glass filters can be expensive. What is your opinions on these? Thanks for sharing.
