My eyes aren’t the best and the magnifying viewfinder is a great help when I’m using manual focus. The optics are sharp and clear. Seagull products are well made and a great bargain. I also have a Seagull eyecup and a Seagull angle viewer, good products too.
Help answer the question about Minolta Pentax
Digital camera advice?
I'm looking for a digitial camera and know next to nothing about photography. I basically want to take photos of friends and family and would like to have a zoom if that's possible Minolta Pentax in my price range of about $200. I'm assuming that the major brands Cannon, Minolta, Pentax are safe, but I see Sony and HP also have reasonably priced models on the market. I need tips on what kinds of things I should be looking for so I don't get taken in by a salesman who is just looking for commission or who doesn't know much more than I do. Buying off the internet is not an option.
