Yes, it is true, as from other reviews this camera
- Has a tendency to become blurry (What point and shoot camera doesn’t?)
- Is a bit chunky and big in size for a newer model of the Sony W generation
- Cannot zoom for video mode

With all that said, it is still a nice camera
- The picture quality along with the relatively high amount of megapixels (12.1) is superb
When having taken a good photograph, the colors for a point and shoot are wonderful!
- Sometimes, this camera does wonders and can take photos that compare to DSLR.
- THe 5x zoom is really nice to have. For the most part, the picture quality even when zoomed has much clarity.

Overall, if you could look past some of the drawbacks, you will love this camera like I would. But, if you had the extra moolah/dough/cash, just get the Sony Cyber-shot DSC-T900 12.1 MP Digital Camera with 4x Optical Zoom and Super Steady Shot Image Stabilization (Black)
