I ordered this product for the purpose of recording my daughter’s basketball games. The adjustments and the pivot points are all plastic. The movement was a bit stiff at times causing the entire tripod to move. I finally realized that if I could put some weight on the hook that most of my problems went away and the tripod stayed in place. I had never used a tripod before so I didn’t really understand the purpose of the hook.
I love the height. I had the tallest tripod at all of the games. Portability was great, lightweight and easy to take along. Can store it in the bag and carry along, or can use the handle on the tripod and leave the bag at home.
I wish the adjustments were smoother and had a little more precision, but I feel like I got what I paid for and I am satisfied.
