fine-camera-lenses Intelligent Zoom Telephoto Information

So far, I love this lens. I was a little reluctant after hearing of some problems with quality control. But, mine worked great right out of the box. I will say this though, there is a learning curve involved with this lens. If you think you are going to slap this on your camera, turn on OS, and take great sharp photos hand-held at 500mm in any light, think again! This is a very long lens and reqires good long lens technique to get optimum results. That means as fast a shutter speed as you can get, and a steady hold (monopod,tripod or steady rest). But this is true of any long lens. Bottom line, I like it.


Help answer the question about Zoom Telephoto
what is the optical zoom on Canon EF 75-300mm lens and how to determent the optical zoom on Telephoto Lenses?
I cant Zoom Telephoto figure out how to see how much optical zoom lens have.Can you please explain me how to determine the optical zoom on lens because i have never seen any of optical zoom numbers on the box or lens itself. So please help me. Thank you.
