Is the HSM creaking problem one commonly experienced?
I picked up a Sigma 70-200 f/2.8 HSM II recently and have been very impressed with image quality and other performance. However, HSM produces Lens Rare the most awful creaking noise. It's very much audible and it keeps on creaking...and creaking...The auto focus is also great outdoors, but in low light it's worse than the screw drive lenses I use.I can still return the lens so what I am going to do with the issue is hardly a matter of discussion.My question is: is this a common occurrence or a rare (or semi-rare) defect?
