Great lens. Highly HIghly recommended. The only down side is that I did not do proper survey before buying and its AF only works with nikons that have focus motors built in and not cheaper cameras like the D5000 or the D3000. Even with that and only manual focus, I get very nice results. I will, howoever, try to sell this and get a DX one.

what is the best way to store an SLR camera and lens?
I just got a Nikon D3000. I love it but im really picky about keeping things nice and clean but want the camera to be best protected. Lens Slr im new to the SLR scene, Should i store the camera with the lens in the camera bag attached? separate? ThanksI have caps for everything both the camera and lens. i bought a Nikon camera bag to help protect it. i was just a little worried about traveling with the lens in tacked with the camera. don't wanna break something. thanks for all your input. :)
