Most of the time, the built in flash on my Sony a700 is adequate, but I purchased this to do some fill/bounce flash for portraits. It worked fine for that, but the best was how well it lit up a dim chapel when I was asked to photograph a niece’s wedding. Battery usage was reasonable, but I had some problems trying to use the wireless functions. Most of the time it worked, but not always. It was basically the first weekend I had tried the wireless, so I wouldn’t rule out user error. This was a low tech, last minute gig; I had my daughter holding the flash up to bounce off the ceiling. If you really need to light up a large area, this may do it. I’ve had this for about 15 months and still would recommend it.
Help answer the question about Pentax Dslr
If I have a 35mm Pentax ZX-50 camera with an auto lens, would I be able to use it on a DSLR Pentax as well?
I just want Pentax Dslr to know if they are compatable, or if brand new lenses would be required for the DSLR...?I forgot to mention that the lens is a ProMaster, made to fit Pentax...is it still compatable?I can't spell compatible either...sorry. lol
