I bought this system because someone was vandalising my home and I wanted to feel safer and be able to monitor what happens when I am not there. As a female, I had no idea how to install it, so I used their install service for $375.00. The service was good and they even came back a second time because I had to order some extension cords. The system is nice and the picture is very clear. The police even came over and looked at it and said it was nicer than what most businesses have. The setup directions are very clear, I was able to do it all myself (other than hang the cameras). I also got it so I can see it on my computer, but have not been able to access it from outside my house yet. The directions are pretty clear, I have just not had the time to work on it. I like that you can search by camera, by event. So, I can just look at when motion was detected by a certain camera. I gave 4 stars because I am having a problem with one camera. It fogged up immediatly, and now I cannot see out of it at all. I wrote to support and they told me to try cleaning the lense. The problem is that now I have to go buy a ladder. I will try it, but hope my warrenty does not run out before I can get to this, as there is a possiblity the camera is defective. All in all, this is a nice system, and I would reccomend it to anyone. I can see where churches and places like that who get vandalised alot would benefit from this as it is not a tremendous amount out of pocket.
