This lens came a lot faster than I expected! So props for that. I’m fairly new to DSLR use so that’s why I figured i’d take a stab at it and bought a random lens. I had no one in particular and this one just happened to pop up while I was looking at a package deal. The quality isn’t so bad and it’s nice to get wider shots. It is a tiny weeny bit blurry, but trust me it’s not bad. You’re paying $8.00 for it so you shouldn’t expect miracles. It does it job and does it well. The quality of the macro is ok as well. Like another person said, the center is focused and the edges are a bit blurry. I’d recommend it for beginners like myself. The bag came with it as well as described.
Help answer the question about Wideangle Lens
While shooting landscape on a bright, sunny day should I decrease the aperture?
I have a wideangle lens on my Nikon D3100 and I like to take wideangle, high depth of field landscape shots. I've realised that by decreasing the aperture Wideangle Lens (increasing the f number), we get a high depth of field. But the shutter speed decreases and I don't get sharp photos. If I increase the shutter speed, the photo either turns out darker or it loses depth of field in spite of being quite sharp. Why does it lose depth of field upon increasing shutter speed? Is there any way out of this? This is quite a big dilemma. And I'm really new into DSLR photography, so far having played with only point and shoots.
