
Bought this because concerned about the problems associated w/ charging the Flip via the usb port. The following instructions solved the usb charging problem so we have never use this video power adapter.
1) remove the battery pack from the camcorder
2) connect the camcorder to a powered USB port on your computer
3) when the “Connected” indicator comes on, insert the battery pack into the camcorder
4) safe eject your camcorder from your computer
5) reconnect your camcorder to your computer
6) the battery pack should now begin to charge within the camcorder

Can using a higher voltage ac adapter damage a digital camera?
I'm Camera Adapter using a Power Shot A520 and found an ac adapter that says DC 9 volts and the req volt on the camera says DC IN 3.15v.
