When I got my Canon 40d, it came with 3 lenses and this is the one I used the most because the range was very fitting for what I needed. Unfortunately, time after time I have become disappointed with the quality of the pictures. The results are either mediocre or just plain bad. The lens tends to have the most trouble in low light (or even little shadow on a very sunny day) where it produces a poor tone in portraits. While I love the range, I’m going to have to get use to my other lenses until I can afford a better one.

If you want even good quality portraits/pictures, save your money for something better. If you are looking for something to use and abuse, this might be it.


Help answer the question about Cap Strap
How do you sew a simple winter cap?
LIke a baby's cap made of fleece and I'll add the straps Cap Strap that go over the ears and velcro under the chin. The cap part is what I dont know. Don't say anything complicated I can barely sew and this is for a halloween costume. Thanks !!!
