True, it is more expensive than non-Canon caps, but after all you are using it a hundred times on a photography day and it works the best (I have a $5 non-Canon one and every time I had to use it it felt cheap and flimsy). Just another small thing to enjoy your shooting more.

How can I fix my broken Canon EOS Digital rebel XT lens?
I bought a canon EOS digital rebel about 2 weeks ago, and yesterday i dropped Eos Snap it! The lens 45ed and i tried to straighten it but it popped right out! Now I have a lens in two pieces, nothing is actually snapped in half but the thing is useless when its in two.Going to canon would be nearly as expensive as getting a new lens... if not more.
