this product gives a new look of your dslr. my Xsi looks more professional than without it. with the price you can’t go wrong. the material is plastic but looks like it could protect your lens as well.
one thing i’ve notice about this product is that it’s difficult to screw in with a filter onto the lens.
for a standard adult hands it’s really hard to screw in. i wish there could be a simplier way to put it in and out of the lens since i have this wide angle adapter and micro lens that i frequently inter-change for my shooting styles.
giving 3 stars for this because it’s so difficult to put it in and out of my lens; overall this works great for giving extra shade for your lens.


Help answer the question about Hood Dslr
how do i achieve a fuzzier blurrier background when taking pictures with dslr cameras? examples!?
i have a canon rebel xs, with no other accessories (lens hood, flash etc.) and i've noticed other people's photography, their backgrounds look so much different, fuzzier and blurrier than the backgrounds in my pictures with my camera. is it achieved with camera accesories? if so what accesories?
