I’ve had rubber style lens hoods in the past and they only lasted a few years because they tend to dry out. For the price its not bad and they are compact so I’m giving them a try again and see. So far they work well and look like its a bit better quality.


Help answer the question about Rubber Lens
Where can I find a rear lens cap for a Quantaray 500/1000mm lens?
I bought a Quantaray 500/1000mm, it has a 2x lens converter attached to convert from 500 to 1000mm. There is a cheapy rubber cap that attaches to the converter while the lens is not attached to Rubber Lens the camera. If I take the 2x converter off and attached the lens to my camera, I am left with the 2x converter and 1 rear cap... so there's nothing to cover the other end of the converter. I've looked online, I've "chatted" with Wolf Camera... which was no help what so ever. If anyone knows what I am talking about... please help!!!??!! Thank You!Let me add that this lens does not directly fit my Canon Rebel XT, I have had to add a t-mount adapter. So, the normal end caps for my camera do not fit this lens.
