This lens perfectly replaces the kit lens that came with my D90, AND adds a level of capability beyond my expectations. I am nowhere near as experienced a photographer as others writing reviews for this lens, so I’m not going to even attempt to speak about the lens’ various qualities and capabilities. Rather, as a mid-level amateur, allow me to say that this lens has been everything I wanted for an everyday lens and more, and it will remain on my camera at least 90% of the time, and very probably more. HIGHLY recommend.
