This macro lens performs at the level of its price. It isn’t a $500. macro lens. It is a screw-on adapter that magnifies the image of your current lens. There may be vignetting in the corners of your image depending on the magnification. This can easily be cropped out. Focus is a bit tricky due to the shallow depth of field. These points may seem negative but they are an honest review. I can’t afford a $500. macro so this is an excellent bargain for me. I’ve used these with film cameras and now with my DSLR. For insects, flowers, and small details, you can’t beat it.
