Image Stabilizer costs more but it’s really worth it. Bottom line you need Stabilizer to take ANY PHOTOS at NIGHT. They won’t come out without a Image Stabilizer in use but with this lens YOU CAN take photos at night. Also don’t think you can hold a camera still when the exposure time is 1/8th of a second without a stabilizer. Your photo will not come out good.

I use this lens at sports events and compared to my 70-300mm lens without stabilizer it makes a huge difference. Even with the exposure time of 1/30th or a second the images that came out blurry on the 70-300mm come out great on the 55-250mm lens.

Bottom Line – If you have the money don’t buy this Canon 75-300mm lens without Image Stabilizer.Canon EF 75-300mm f/4-5.6 III Telephoto Zoom Lens for Canon SLR Cameras Save your money and get this 55-250mm lens with Image Stabilizer. Even though the zoom is better on the 75-300 the photos in Low Light Situations (even thought they aren’t perfect) come out better on the 55-250mm lens.

Camera HELP!?
Well, i need help FAST! I am going on vacation in less than two days! my sisters got ahold of my camera and now when you turn it on, it automatically says, "turn power off and back on again!" My battery is Lens Cellphone fully charged. and when it DOES stay on, the thingy that pops out with the lens in it doesnt pop out all the way and when you try to zoom in, it makes this wierd noise! My mom refuses to buy me a new one b4 vaca cuz she just replaced my cellphone and she thinks that the camera is MY fault and i wasnt even home! we got into a big fight about this and she took my cell away! now i am rele upset and i am panicking. What should i do?!?!?!?!
