filters-filter-accessories Coated Lens Significant Information

I purchased two of these UV filters – one each lense on my D3000. I was concerned about glare from a ‘basic’ UV filter. I live in AZ and it is VERY sunny and bright here most of the time. These filters are doing the job for me. I have had no problems with glare in my photos.


Help answer the question about Coated Lens
Is there a way to add a coat over Oakley sun-glass lens to prevent it from being scratched?
I was wondering if Coated Lens I could add some sort of material like invisible shield over Oakley sun-glass lens to keep them from being scratched. I have leftover invisible shield and don't know if that will work or if there's another way of doing it.
